A-Level
Performing Arts
As
part of an A-Level assessment Charlotte was part of adapting and performing
in 4.48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane, in a theatre of the
absurd/ cruelty style. The group adapted the playscript and added in their
own scenes also. It really was great fun to create!
Autism was a wonderful sensory piece of performance that focused on the struggles of people with autism and the daily battles that they face. Based on first-hand experiences and scenarios, the piece made use of dance based phyiscal theatre to explore the five key senses and to deconstruct the mis-placed labels associated with Autism.
In Dancing at Lughnasa by Brian Friel, Charlotte had the pleasure of playing Agnes Mundy.
