Mirror Mirror and The Visit

Mirror Mirror was a devised piece that used theatre of cruelty to explore the downfall of the Queen from Snow White, and her obsession with the mirror. Each performer had a scene in which they portrayed an aspect of the Queen's power and (in)stability, until eventually her self-obsession became too much.

During A-Level Theatre Studies, Charlotte was a part of an adaptation of The Visit by Friedrich Dürrenmatt. The main focus of this adaptation was Claire Zachanassian's relationship with Alfred Ill, as a result, the other characters were blurred and became more like entities. The ensemble shared the lines and performed the play in an absurdist and Brechtian style making use of physical theatre to highlight the dark humour throughout.
