Eloise and Blood Brothers
GCSE Performances
Eloise was a devised piece of theatre, based around a girl with split personality. The four performers, each portrayed a personality represented through the colour connotations of the shirts worn.
The red shirt symbolised the anger, pale green for paranoia, blue for obsession and yellow for suicide.
The piece explored Eloise's repression of these traits and the growing control they had over her life, through a therapy session she held for herself in her mind. Eventually she became so overwhelmed by her split personalities, that they resulted in her demise.
Charlotte and her course-mates also performed in Blood Brothers by Willy Russell. Everyone had to multi-role which gave Charlotte the opportunity to play the Police Officer in the last scene, Mrs Lyons, Mickey, and several others. Unfortunately there is no photographic evidence of this production.
